GU Politics Trips

Each year, we organize trips to visit party conventions, caucuses, national and international elections, and more. We give students backstage access to gain valuable insights into how politics gets done. All they have to do in return is tell their story for the rest of us back on the Hilltop! Check out the videos below to learn more about how our students are experiencing politics in action.

2024 RNC & DNC Convention Trips

We are thrilled to announce this summer, GU Politics will be taking students back to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. This is an unparalleled opportunity for students to experience the conventions behind-the-scenes, network with campaign operatives and surrogates, witness media professionals in action and gain real-world political experience. Read more about our convention trips to the RNC and DNC in 2016 below. Applications for these trips are now closed.
