Washington Post national investigative reporter Carol Leonnig and White House bureau chief Philip Rucker came to Georgetown to provide an exclusive look inside the administration in their new book, A Very Stable Genius. Both Pulitzer Prize winners, Leonnig and Rucker leaned on sources with inside knowledge of how the Trump White House functions and how the president operates within the most powerful office in the land. Together, they were able to find common threads and patterns in the current administration’s decision- and policy-making process.
In a productive, entertaining conversation with students and Mo Elleithee, GU Politics Executive Director, Leonnig and Rucker offered insight, answered questions, and shared their experiences in political reporting.
