Through an in-depth conversation moderated by Mo Elleithee, Executive Director of GU Politics, the six panelists debated the relative strengths and weakness of the Democratic and Republican Parties coming into 2020. They answered student questions and made predictions for this campaign cycle. But, even beyond the recent impeachment and many unknowns for pollsters, the country is undergoing a significant shift in political attitudes. As Solis Doyle put it, “The way we measure politics, the metrics by which we measure, that’s different. We can’t measure accurately anymore. The way we receive information has changed; the way we disseminate information has changed.”
