On Tuesday, students joined Kayleigh McEnany for a discussion on her new book, The New American Revolution: The Making of a Populist Movement. Told through a collection of interviews and connecting stories, the book chronicles both the struggles and losses of conservative grassroots movements, as well as the populist victory of the Trump campaign in November 2016. McEnany is the official spokesperson for the Republican National Committee.
Moderated by Tony Arend, the School of Foreign Service Senior Associate Dean of Faculty and Graduate Affairs, students asked McEnany questions and shared opinions on Donald Trump’s election.
