Roudah Chaker (COL '24)
Events Co-Chair
Roudah Chaker is the Events Co-Chair on GUPolitics’ 2022-23 GUPolitics’ Student Advisory Board. Roudah was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado but currently calls Alexandria, Virginia home. The daughter of Syrian immigrants, Roudah’s Syrian roots and heritage are of utmost importance to her and she showcases that in her work and perseverance. Roudah is a junior in the College double majoring in Government and Economics. Roudah plans to foster an environment of inclusion and belonging within GUPolitics, in the hope of increasing student engagement in the realm of politics and public service.
Outside of GUPolitics, Roudah is the current Campus Ministry Muslim Life Outreach Fellow and also serves as the Director of Outreach and Inclusion on the board of Georgetown’s Muslim Student Association. This semester, Roudah will be interning with New Blue Interactive, a digital communications organization designed to offer strategic communications advice to public sector clients, as well as amplify and support the Democratic Party. She has previously interned with Virginia Delegate Suhas Subramanyan, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton and worked for Protect Democracy under Public Citizen. In her free time, she enjoys feeding into her political junkie persona, cooking traditional Syrian dishes and binge-watching Law and Order SVU.
