Rick Wiley is a national political consultant who has managed state and national political campaigns, third party organizations and coalitions throughout his career.
Wiley has played a central role in Republican presidential campaigns for the last 25 years, and most recently served as the National Political Director for Ambassador Nikki Haley’s campaign.
During the 2016 cycle, Wiley served as campaign manager for Governor Scott Walker’s Presidential campaign and finished the cycle working as a senior consultant to the Republican National Committee. Wiley also served as the National Political Director for Donald Trump’s campaign in the final months of the primary to help him secure the GOP nomination.
Wiley has served as a senior consultant for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Republican Governors Association, where he helped candidates from Joni Ernst to Scott Walker and Bruce Rauner forge a path to victory.
In 2012, Wiley served as the National Political Director at the Republican National Committee for two years, seeing the organization through the 2012 Presidential cycle; prior to that role, Wiley served as Regional Political Director at the RNC through the 2010 midterm cycle.
As RNC Political Director, Wiley guided the ground game for the Romney/Ryan ticket, managing a $178 million national budget. The results of the grassroots program were historic with over 65 million volunteer voter contacts made.
Prior to his time at the RNC, Wiley served as Deputy National Political Director for the 2008 Rudy Giuliani Presidential Campaign, and was Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin from 2005-06. In 2004, Wiley served as the Republican National Committee Victory Director for President Bush's re-election campaign in Wisconsin. While leading the state's turnout effort, 240,000 more Republicans turned out for President Bush in 2004 than 2000.
