Hannah Friedman
McCourt Chair, MPP '21
Hannah Friedman is a second-year Master of Public Policy student at Georgetown's McCourt School of Public Policy, where she is focusing on technology policy and economic inequality studies. Hannah currently holds the new position of McCourt Chair on the 2020-2021 GU Politics Student Leadership Council, having previously served on both Karen Travers' and Robert Traynham's Student Strategy Teams. She was the lead for Robert Traynham's team. Before coming to Georgetown, Hannah spent three years working professionally for a technology company, spending the first two of those years in London and the final year in New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at American University, where she majored in International Relations and minored in Economics, French and Spanish. Hannah grew up just outside of Boston but was born in Germany. She is fully bilingual in German and English and holds German-American dual citizenship.
