Author and former CIA intelligence officer, David Priess sat down with Georgetown students to discuss his new book, How to Get Rid of a President: History’s Guide to Removing Unpopular, Unable, or Unfit Chief Executives. The book looked at the topic of impeachment throughout American political history, providing context on many contemporary political developments.
Moderated by McCourt School Associate Professor Mark Rom, the conversation delved into “the political dark arts in action: a stew of election dramas, national tragedies, and presidential departures mixed with party intrigue, personal betrayal, and backroom shenanigans.”
