Georgetown students joined David Litt, a speechwriter under President Obama and member of his senior staff, for a discussion on his new book, Thanks, Obama: My Hopey, Changey White House Years. The book explored the triumphant highs, demoralizing lows, and hilarious surprises of life in the world’s most high-stakes office building.
Litt delved into his experiences as a White House speechwriter, starting at age twenty-four, sharing career insights and lessons picked up along the way. He shared themes and particular anecdotes from his tenure, offering students the opportunity hear directly from the author and take away lessons.
