Presenting her new book, Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?: And Other Questions You Should Have Answers to When You Work in the White House, Alyssa Mastromonaco spoke with Georgetown students on a bevy of topics between her career, the new administration, and the focus of her book. The conversation was moderated by Jen Psaki, GU Politics Spring 2017 Fellow and former Communications Director.
Having since moved on to Vice and the A+E Network, Mastromonaco noted her new outside status in the ever-changing dynamics of D.C. Reflecting on her time in the White House, her central theme comes down to “Work hard. Be organized. Be nice.”
