Markus is a sophomore in the Walsh School of Foreign Service class of 2024, pursuing a major in International Politics with a concentration in International Security and a minor in Economics. He is originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala but grew up in both Germany and Panama. Aside from his involvement in the Communications Team at GU Politics, he actively participates in Model United Nations (MUN) at Georgetown as well as the Georgetown Bipartisan Coalition. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, playing the guitar and hanging out with friends.
