Jacob Bernard (SFS '23)
Student Experience Co-Chair
Jacob Bernard is the 2022-23 Student Engagement Co-Chair on GUPolitics’ Student Advisory Board. He is majoring in Regional and Comparative Studies with a concentration in Latin America and is minoring in Philosophy. Jacob is from the small town in Pitman in South Jersey. Jacob has been involved in GU Politics since his first year and has served on the Student Strategy Team for Senator Doug Jones and led Ashley Etienne’s strategy team.
Outside of GUPolitics, Jacob works as a Fall Communications Intern with the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ+ organization that envisions an inclusive world for all. He has also interned on Capitol Hill with the office of Congressman John Larson and worked as an academic assistant for the new Georgetown Americas Institute. Jacob works as a TA for Map of the Modern World, teaching geography to students at Title I high schools. In his free time watches too much reality TV, his favorite being Real Housewives (shoutout to all the Salt Lake City fans).
