Jack Healy (SFS '23)
Events Co-Chair
Jack Healy is a junior in the School of Foreign Service majoring in Culture and Politics with a minor in English. Jack returns to the Student Advisory Board as Events Co-Chair after working last year to plan virtual programming for debates, election day, and coffee chats with the GU Politics Community. As a freshman, Jack's first event with GU Politics was volunteering for the 2020 Climate Forum, and since that first experience in Gaston Hall he has enjoyed almost every type of event programming the Institute has to offer to the Georgetown community.
A native of New Bern, North Carolina, Jack has been involved in Democratic politics in his home state. He has interned with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper's policy team, Cal Cunningham for North Carolina, and Cynthia Wallace for Congress (NC-11). Last summer, Jack interned for Cheri Beasley for North Carolina and a fundraising consulting firm in DC.
Outside of GU Politics, Jack works as a teaching assistant for Map of the Modern World and enjoys staying active in the pool or running and biking around DC.
