Caitlin Cottrell
Assistant Director of Programming, Student Engagement, SFS '23
Caitlin Cottrell is the Assistant Director of Programming, Student Engagement at the Institute of Politics and Public Service. She previously served as a graduate advisor for the Center for Student Engagement at Georgetown, where she advised student leaders on university policies in addition to planning bi-weekly student-staff events. Additionally, she was an admissions counselor for West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Caitlin is an early career professional in politics and international affairs, specializing in U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Her previous experiences span language immersion abroad, peacebuilding and advocacy.
Caitlin received her M.A. in Arab studies from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and her B.A. in political science and international studies from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
