Antonia Ferrier
Former Staff Director, Senate Republican Communications Center - Spring '19 Fellow
Antonia Ferrier has built a decade plus reputation as “one of the top Republican message gurus.” She uses her years of Capitol Hill, communications, and campaign experience implementing legislative and communications strategies for Republican members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to help corporate clients navigate complex and challenging communications challenges.
Antonia has played a role in some of the most important policy debates and achievements of the last two decades, including tax reform, health care, trade, addressing the financial crisis and judicial confirmations. Currently, Antonia is Chief Strategy & Communications Officer at CGCN Group.
Before joining Definers, Antonia was the Staff Director of the Senate Republican Communications Center (SRCC), a critical part of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) communications’ operation, built on the fundamentals of research, rapid response, booking, creative and social media that helped serve as the central messaging hub for all Senate Republicans.
Antonia served as Senior Advisor and Communications Director to Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Orrin Hatch (R-UT), playing a critical role in legislative battles over tax, trade and health care policy. She also worked in House Republican leadership – first for Republican Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) and then Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH).
Antonia started her congressional career in the Senate first with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) and then with the Senate’s leading Republican moderate Olympia Snowe of Maine.
Antonia attended the American University in Washington, D.C. and is a Massachusetts native.
Her Spring 2019 discussion group was titled “Politics and National Security.“
Antonia Ferrier currently serves as Vice President for External Affairs at the International Republican Institute (IRI).
