On November 14th, 2018, GU Politics hosted Major Garrett, White House correspondent for CBS, for a Political Pageturners event.
Major Garrett joined Mo Elleithee, Executive Director of GU Politics, on Wednesday for a conversation looking at the Trump White House. His new book, Mr. Trump’s Wild Ride: The Thrills, Chills, Screams, and Occasional Blackouts of an Extraordinary Presidency, chronicles the varying successes and failures of the current administration, highlighting particular events or moments that have challenged what Americans expect from the president.
Garrett shared his perspective on the current and past administrations, views from the briefing room, and answered a wide range of questions from Georgetown students.
