Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to the President and Chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls, came to Georgetown to speak on the Obama administration’s efforts in a discussion with Buffy Wicks. Over her time in the Obama White House, Jarrett has developed a broad coalition for the purpose of ending sexual assault, raising the minimum wage, promoting early childhood education, and other important policies.
