Want to learn how a political campaign really works? Campaign Bootcamp is an exclusive opportunity to learn from some of the country’s most senior campaign experts on both sides of the aisle. They’ll pull back the curtain on the political process and give an inside look into running a successful race. From campaign strategy to political targeting to polling and from developing a message to organizing to earned media, Campaign Bootcamp offers a masterclass on a wide range of topics. Some of the biggest names in politics are coming to campus— and the Institute of Politics and Public Service gives you the access to make the most of your time in DC. Previous campaign or political experience is not a prerequisite to apply; just be sure to come prepared to learn about and work in the fast-paced and exhilarating world of campaigning!

Instructions on accessing the 2024 Pre-Orientation Programs application form can be found on the Pre-Orientation Programs main page. The application will open on May 6, and applications will be due by 11:59pm on June 9. Students will be notified of their application decision in July. Students are encouraged to wait until a decision has been communicated before making final travel arrangements.
