Pollsters Ed Goeas and Celinda Lake will release the poll results and lead a briefing for journalists on Tuesday, October 15, at the debate site. They will be joined by Mo Elleithee, Executive Director of the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service, which became the home of the Battleground Poll earlier this year. A reliable bellwether of national voter opinion for nearly thirty years, the Battleground Poll tracks traditional polling questions related to U.S. electoral politics and voter attitudes on various issues of the day. Besides tracking more traditional political issues, the October Battleground Poll will also examine how voters feel about the impeachment of President Trump. A second installment — the Civility Poll — will be released the following week in Washington, D.C., and will look at voter attitudes towards the state of civility in our national political conversation.
