Lauren Mullins

Lauren Mullins is communications advisor and strategist with a passion for policy and politics storytelling.
She contributed creative and strategic energy to the establishment of and is responsible for the narrative of Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy and its key centers like the Institute of Politics and Public Service, Massive Data Institute, and the Baker Center for Leadership & Governance.
A creative thinker and expert at translating ideas into action, Lauren cultivates and engages student, alumni, faculty, and thought leader communities across a myriad of channels, like the McCourt School website, social media channels, events, and annual magazine.
More than anything, Lauren is inspired to help others be their best selves, and enjoys being a trusted and thoughtful professional and personal advisor. She is a member of the Georgetown Women’s Alliance steering committee, where she serves as communications co-chair and a mentor. She is driven to set a strong example for her daughters and other young women.
Lauren is a graduate of Loyola University in Baltimore and has a master’s degree in Global Strategic Communications from Georgetown University.
