Kevin Zhang (SFS '24)
Career Co-Chair
Kevin Zhang is the 2022-23 Career Co-Chair on GU Politics’ Student Advisory Board. He is a junior in the School of Foreign Service majoring in International Politics. Kevin is originally from Wuhan, China, and immigrated to Irvine, California when he was nine. Before becoming Career Co-Chair, Kevin was a member of Alyssa Farah Griffin’s student strategy team and served as a student mentor for GUPolitics’ Campaign Bootcamp Pre-Orientation Program.
Before coming to Georgetown, Kevin took a gap year and volunteered with AmeriCorps NCCC. During his service term, he conducted COVID-19 contact tracing in Colorado, supported FEMA vaccine distribution efforts in New Jersey, and worked on construction and gardening projects with local non-profits in Columbia, Missouri.
Outside of GU Politics, Kevin is an SFS Peer Advisor, Director of Campaign Operations for Georgetown University College Republicans, a member of the American Enterprise Institute’s Georgetown Executive Council, and a student Ambassador for Free the Facts. Kevin has interned for the Republican staff of the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he focused on consumer protection and telecommunication policies. Currently, Kevin interns at the Hudson Institute in the Office of Secretary Elaine L. Chao. In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing basketball and reading books on history and philosophy.
