Carly Kabot is a freshman at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service studying international politics from Westchester, NY. She has been interested in pursuing political journalism since picking up her favorite book at 15, Longitudes and Attitudes by Thomas Friedman. Carly joined On the Record as a staff writer during her freshman fall and is looking forward to continuing to grow the publication. She aims to seek the truth, pursue the difficult questions, and shed light on the otherwise forgotten.
