Title: Announcing 2020 #HoyasAtRNC & #HoyasAtDNC

UPDATE (3/11): Due to the university’s new policies regarding a virtual campus environment, students now have until Friday, April 3 to submit applications.
UPDATE (3/6): Students now have until midnight on Sunday, March 8 to apply.
Here at GU Politics, we are constantly connecting students with the smartest and most recognizable political figures and public servants in the country to come up with the next big ideas on how to make our political system work better. And as the race for the White House heats up, we are continuing to take our mission on the road! Following the success of our #HoyasInIA student trip to the Iowa caucus, we are organizing another opportunity to get inside access to 2020 campaigns.
We’re taking students to the Democratic National Convention, July 13-16 in Milwaukee, WI, and Republican National Convention, August 24-27 in Charlotte, NC.
If selected for this student cohort, you will have the opportunity to meet with journalists, campaign staff, and party officials behind the two largest political events in the country. You’ll also speak with voters and campaign surrogates to dive deeper and really understand the voter sentiment in the state. Along the way, you’ll produce articles and videos, and share your experience with the world through digital and social media storytelling. View full instructions on how to apply in our application addendum. Then, fill out your application here!
Applications are now open through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 6. Let us know why you want to be a part of #HoyasAtRNC and #HoyasAtDNC! Successful applicants will interview during the week of March 16. This opportunity is limited to students who will be enrolled at Georgetown during the Fall 2020 semester.
