The Exit Interview: The Economy
On November 17th, 2016, GU Politics welcomed Jack Lew for an event on the economy as part of the Exit Interview series.
Treasury Secretary Jack Lew joined students and the Georgetown community in a retrospective on White House efforts and an analysis of economic policy in the US. He shared the various policies he pursued while leading the Treasury Department and put it in context of the Obama administration’s broader goals for the nation.
The Exit Interview series centered on the political and policy legacy of President Barack Obama’s eight years in office. It brought a variety of senior officials and policy experts to Georgetown, exploring the administration’s successes, challenges, and regrets alike.
