GU Politics Mockus 2020

On January 28th, 2020, GU Politics hosted a workshop on the caucus process with campaign experts Pat Burgwinkle and Kate Waters.

GU Politics welcomed students to its second-ever mock caucus Tuesday night. The event, mimicking the real Iowa Caucus and organized by Iowa caucus veterans Pat Burgwinkle and Kate Waters, offered students the chance to debate, campaign, and advocate for their chosen Democratic candidate. It was an ideal learning experience about this unique political process for Georgetown students. At the end of the night, Elizabeth Warren had the most supporters and won the mockus.
