Battleground Poll: October 2019

On October 23rd, 2019, in coordination with GU Politics, The Tarrance Group and Lake Research Partners presented their most recent iteration of the Battleground Poll.

On October 23rd, in partnership with GU Politics, Ed Goeas of The Tarrance Group and Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners presented the most recent iteration of the Battleground Poll at Georgetown University. A new component, the Civility Poll, is now added to measure and track voter attitudes on civility in politics. The Battleground Poll series offers unique polling analysis and insights from two top pollsters from different sides of the aisle. By looking at the same data and drawing unique conclusions from their political perspectives, students, journalists, and everyone can gain stronger insights into the current beliefs and hopes of voting Americans across the country.

Notably, the poll found that 7 in 10 Americans believe the country to be “on the edge” of a civil war. You can read more on the Battleground page.
