2nd Annual Women of Color in Politics Networking Event
On February 25th, 2019, GU Politics organized a workshop for students with women of color engaged in politics.
This networking event connected students with points of contact in various sectors of public service–from law, politics, and organizing, to media, journalism, and communication. Visiting professionals shared their experiences and personal stories. And through the invaluable perspective of these women of color in the workforce, participants had the opportunity to learn from the women who have faced challenges and overcome these obstacles to become successful figures in modern politics.
