Reed Howard
Director of Communications, SFS'17
Reed is the Director of Communications at the Institute of Politics, overseeing communication strategy, press relations, and digital and social media. Prior to joining GU Politics, Reed was a member of the Lincoln Project’s Virginia Steering Committee, the co-founder of the organization Biden Republicans, a convention speaker at the Niskanen Center and Stand Up Republic’s Convention on Founding Principles, and a founding member of the Summit on Principled Conservatism. Reed previously worked in the Virginia Senate and as a campaign manager to state and local elected officials. Beyond politics, Reed served as a minister at Central United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA. He studies ethics and moral leadership at Emory University where he will receive a Master of Divinity degree in May 2021. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
