Thank you for your interest in serving on the Student Advisory Board for the Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics)!

The Student Advisory Board is a critical component of GU Politics. Student Advisory Board members will work in tandem with the staff and Advisory Board to plan and promote programming, engage a diverse group of students, and carry out the mission and long-term vision of GU Politics.

The Student Advisory Board time commitment is extensive and the responsibilities include:

  • Attending weekly Student Advisory Board meetings
  • Participating in as many GU Politics events and programs as possible
  • Providing guidance, advice, and suggestions for GU Politics programming and selection of Fellows
  • Serving as an ambassador for GU Politics to other student groups and the general student community
  • Leading various student volunteer committees (examples: Special Ops, Research Squad, Comms Crew, GU Votes)
