Rachel is a first year Master of Public Policy student at the McCourt School set to graduate in 2017. Hailing from the great city of Chicago, Rachel’s policy interests are focused on urban poverty with special attention to education reform and crime. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Rachel worked in development at both the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. Additionally, for two years she coordinated a research project at Northwestern focused on improving job hiring rates for low-income, minority youth in the Chicago Public School system. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Political Science from Northwestern and looks forward to rooting for both the Wildcats and the Hoyas.
