Title: Meet the IPPS Advisory Board

Dear Friends,

It’s almost here! Later this week, we’re formally launching the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service, and I couldn’t be more excited!

When Georgetown first came up with this idea during the founding of the McCourt School a couple of years ago, there was one goal: to inspire young people to become leaders in politics and public service.

We engaged Georgetown students, faculty, and administration, and leaders in politics, government, and media in Washington and beyond to explore ways to accomplish that goal. Along the way, we met a lot of people who truly believed in our mission and wanted to stay involved.

Today we are thrilled to announce a dynamic and diverse set of professionals who have joined our Institute of Politics and Public Service Advisory Board. They are:

Ron Christie, Former Policy Advisor to Vice President Cheney and Special Assistant to President George W. Bush. Adjunt Professor, McCourt School of Public Policy.
Chris Cillizza (COL ’98), Political Reporter, The Washington Post. Founder, “The Fix” blog.
