Meet the GU Politics Spring 2018 Fellows Class

The Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy is thrilled to introduce our Spring 2018 Fellows Class!

  • Nadeam Elshami (Former Chief of Staff, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi; Executive Vice President, Signal Group)
  • Steven Law (President & CEO, Senate Leadership Fund, American Crossroads & Crossroads GPS; Former Chief of Staff, Senator Mitch McConnell; Former Deputy Secretary of Labor, Bush Administration)
  • Dorothy McAuliffe (L ’88) (First Lady of Virginia)
  • Eugene Scott (Political Reporter, The Washington Post)
  • Katie Walsh Shields (Former Deputy White House Chief of Staff, Trump Administration; Senior Advisor & Former Chief of Staff, Republican National Committee)

We are excited to welcome this new Fellows class to the Hilltop. And they can’t wait to get get to know you at their weekly discussion groups and during their office hours to talk career paths or the latest in political news.

Interested in working alongside the Fellows? Consider applying to join one of the Student Strategy Teams, where you’ll help with research, campus outreach, and come up with fresh ideas to make politics work better. And stay tuned for info on our Meet the Fellows Open House and Fellows + McCourt School Happy Hours to learn more about their backgrounds and what they have planned for the semester!
