Georgetown’s Institute of Politics and Public Service, EY Launch Tax Reform Event Series
OMB Director Mick Mulvaney to Discuss the New Republican Tax Plan at Inaugural Event
The Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy and EY are thrilled to host, “The Unified Framework: Inside the Politics and Policy of Tax Reform,” a series of events examining the new Republican tax plan.
As Congress and the White House negotiate the most sweeping overhaul to our nation's tax code in three decades, GU Politics and EY will bring top officials from the Trump Administration, and experts in the politics and policy of tax reform to Georgetown to examine key issues in the debate that promises to be front and center this fall.
Kick Off with OMB Director Mick Mulvaney (SFS ‘89)
The series will kick off with, “The Trump Tax Reform Plan: A Conversation with OMB Director Mick Mulvaney.” In a conversation moderated by Cathy Koch (GRD ‘94), Americas Tax Policy Leader at EY and GU Politics Advisory Board Member, Director Mulvaney (SFS ‘89) will discuss the intentions and pillars of the Republican tax proposal, and its effect on the federal budget.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 7:00PM in the Healey Family Student Center Social Room. More information can be found here.
