Meg Pursley is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Georgetown University and serves as Graduate Assistant to the Baker Center of Leadership and Governance. Meg moved to DC in 2009 after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Arkansas. Prior to enrolling in the McCourt School of Public Policy, Meg gained extensive experience in market research, social media, and project management as Product Marketing Manager for energy research at IHS Inc. Before working at IHS, she served as a Constituent Relations Specialist in the office of US Senator Blanche Lincoln. Meg is excited to tackle policy challenges while studying and working at Georgetown.
In addition to studying public policy, Meg enjoys volunteering in the DC community, trying new recipes, playing tennis, cheering on the Razorbacks, and indulging in her love of travel.
