Max Magid is a junior in the College, double majoring in Physics and Economics and minoring in Government.
Max developed his fervor for politics by interning for Joe Hogsett’s mayoral campaign in his hometown of Indianapolis. The campaign was hard-fought but ultimately successful, teaching Max how campaigns work on the ground level and the ways politics affect everyday local life.
At Georgetown, Max has discovered different ways that politicians can influence change on national and international levels as a member of GU Politics’ Special Operations Team and the executive board of No Labels Georgetown.
When not studying or attending GU Politics events, he enjoys reading, watching football, playing for the rugby team, and exploring D.C.
In the future, Max plans to work for the government dealing with science and technology in some capacity, but in the short term, he looks forward to his continued involvement with GU Politics and learning how politics can be a valuable public service.
