Katie is a junior in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Marketing and Management. She is from Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Before coming to Georgetown, Katie was interested in politics, but had never really been involved. When she took U.S. Political Systems in the fall of her freshman year, she began attending GU Politics events for class credit. After the course ended, she continued attending events and joined the Special Operations team. Since then, she has helped lead the inaugural GU Politics pre-orientation program, was a member of Martin O’Malley’s Student Strategy Team, and went on a trip to Georgia with some fellow #HoyasInGA to follow the special election in the 6th Congressional District.
Outside of GU Politics, Katie works in the Finance Office at the business school, helps plan GAAP weekends for prospective students, and cheers on Georgetown’s sports teams with Hoya Blue.
