Hunter Estes

SFS '19


Hunter Estes is from Potomac, MD. He is a sophomore at Georgetown University, and is pursuing a degree in International Politics.

Growing up in the D.C. area fostered his interest in national politics and international relations. He has experience working on a number of political campaigns including multiple Virginia state senate campaigns and Maryland congressional campaigns, and recently interned for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

During his freshman year at Georgetown, Hunter was actively involved as a Hall Council President, Membership Director for the College Republicans, Vice-Chair of the Free Speech GUSA Policy team, the student representative to the Alumni Board of Governors, Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus, Campaign Manager for Students for Rubio, and the Events Director for Vita Saxa.  During his freshman year he interned for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Hunter’s most memorable GU Politics moments have been meeting the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and former Senator Rick Santorum. He also served as a leader in the GU Politics Pre-Orientation program.
