Interested in local government or elected positions? Join GU Politics for a career-focused site visit on Friday, 10/19 from 1:00PM-2:00PM to meet with DC Councilman David Grosso at City Hall. Students will also meet with a member of the Councilman’s team who can speak about internship opportunities in city government.

Councilman Grosso was first elected to the D.C. Council as an at-large member in November 2012 to represent residents in all eight wards. He was born in the District of Columbia, spent his early childhood on a farm in Northern Virginia, and his teenage years in Petworth. He earned a philosophy degree from Earlham College and a law degree from Georgetown University.

* Note: you should be available from 12:30PM-2:30PM if you plan to travel with GU Politics to the Councilman’s Office. You will be required to cover the cost of your transportation to the Councilman’s Office and back to campus.
