Meet the Spring 2018 Fellows Open House

The Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy, in partnership with POLITICO, is thrilled to present: “Taking Politics Back to School: An Open House with the GU Politics Spring Fellows Class”! POLITICO Playbook co-authors Anna Palmer and Jake Sherman will introduce the new GU Politics Spring 2018 Fellows class to Georgetown Hoyas.

  • Nadeam Elshami: Former Chief of Staff to Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi; Executive Vice President SIGNAL Group
  • Katie Walsh Shields: Former Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Trump Administration
  • Eugene Scott: Political Reporter for the Washington Post’s The Fix
  • Dorothy McAuliffe: First Lady of Virginia
  • Steven Law: President and Chief Executive Officer, Senate Leadership Fund and American Crossroads

In addition to the news of the day, they’ll talk about why they decided to go back to school, what they want to talk about with students, what they hope to learn during their time on campus, and give some advice to Georgetown students.
