GU Politics Site Visit: Civic Advisors

Civic Advisors Office, 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Join GU Politics for a career-focused site visit on Friday, 3/16 from 3-4:30pm to Civic Advisors!

From Politics To Community Engagement – Learning How To Build Movements
Come meet former Obama-Biden Administration officials working at Civic Advisors, a social impact strategy and consulting firm, and Civic Nation, a non-profit that uses organizing, engagement and public awareness to address some of our Nation’s most pressing challenges. Together, these teams have created national public awareness campaigns reaching over four billion individuals, including the It’s On Us initiative to prevent campus sexual assault, the Reach Higher campaign to encourage higher education for all students, and the All In Campus Democracy Challenge that encourages all colleges in the United States to focus on voting and civic engagement. Join Kyle Lierman, CEO of Civic Advisors; Laura Miller, Senior Director of Digital at Civic Advisors; Eric Waldo, Executive Director of the Reach Higher Initiative; and more of our team to learn about different public service opportunities and how to build nationwide public service campaigns.
