The Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy will host DCCC Executive Director Dan Sena and NRCC Executive Director John Rogers for a discussion entitled, Battle for the House: Midterms 2018. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 17th at 7:00 PM in Old North 205 on Georgetown’s main campus. The event is co-sponsored by the Georgetown University College Democrats and the Georgetown University College Republicans.
In a conversation moderated by Nathan Gonzalez, Editor & Publisher of Inside Elections, Dan and John will discuss the set-up of the House of Representatives heading into the midterm elections. Will the President’s rhetoric and policies cost his party a historic number of seats? Will a booming economy bode well for Republicans? Are socialists taking over the Democratic left wing? How will the midterms help shape the remaining two years of the President’s first term?
