Christian Mesa

COL '19

Co-Chair, Student Advisory Board

Christian Mesa is a junior in the College, majoring in Government with minors in Theology and History. Christian is originally from Long Beach, California, and still considers the beach his true home.

He first got involved in GU Politics his freshman year and hasn’t looked back since. Serving on Juana Summers’ Student Strategy team as well as the Comms Crew and Special Operations Team, he is excited to bring his experiences to the SAB this year. Christian is also the co-host of GU Politics’ weekly podcast, “Fly on the Wall” with fellow Student Advisory Board member and roommate Aaron Bennett.

Outside of GU Politics, Christian serves as the Secretary-General of the North American Invitational Model United Nations Conference, the largest Model United Nations Conference in the Western Hemisphere. He also enjoys rooting for the Dodgers, watching Aaron Sorkin’s political TV shows, and drinking an obscene amount of Snapple. Christian is very excited to combine all of his passions together in pursuing the core mission of GU Politics.
