Chris Cillizza (COL ‘98) is a Washington Post political reporter and the founder of The Fix, a leading blog on politics. He is an author of The Gospel According to the Fix: An Insider’s Guide to a Less than Holy World of Politics and an MSNBC contributor and political analyst.
Cillizza joined The Post in 2005 and previously spent four years at Roll Call, a Washington, DC newspaper, covering Congress. Prior to joining Roll Call in June 2001, Cillizza covered governors’ races and southern House races for the Cook Political Report, and wrote a column on politics for Congress Daily. His freelance work has appeared in a variety of publications including the Atlantic Monthly, Washingtonian, and Slate. In addition to MSNBC, he regularly appears on NBC, PBS Newshour and NPR’s The Diane Rehm Show.
Cillizza graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English in 1998.
