Charlie Kovach is a junior in the College studying Linguistics, Chinese, and English. She became involved in GU Politics through her trip to the Republican National Convention this past summer.
Although she had no experience in politics before Georgetown, Charlie discovered her passion for public service through her interest in language policy and a variety of congressional internships. While she continues to intern on Capitol Hill, Charlie is involved in Georgetown University’s chapter of No Labels, working to promote bipartisanship.
Charlie is also an undergraduate assistant in Michael Ullman’s Brain and Language Lab, which investigates the neurocognition of language and memory in healthy populations and disorders. She hopes to combine her love for neurolinguistics and policy after Georgetown.
Charlie is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and can often be found cheering on the Packers, or playing her ukulele.
