Carah Goldoust

Director of the GU Politics Forum

Carah joins the Institute after spending five years on Capitol Hill, most recently as Director of Media Affairs for the Majority Staff of the House Ways and Means Committee, where she led the Chairman’s national media strategy and helped spearhead the Committee’s communications efforts around tax, social security, and health care reform.

Previously, Carah worked in the Special Events and Protocol Office for House Speakers John Boehner and Paul Ryan, where she developed, planned, and executed major events in the Capitol, including the 58th Presidential Inauguration and three State of the Union addresses.

Carah received her undergraduate degree in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
