Andrew Straky (COL ’20)
Co-President, GU Votes
Andrew is a junior at Georgetown from Novi, Michigan studying Government with minors in Sociology and Theology. Always politically-obsessed, he was proud to join the GU Votes team during his first semester on campus to assist over 1,600 Hoyas in the voter registration and absentee ballot request process ahead of the 2016 election. He became Co-President of GU Votes in early 2017 and continues its mission of enhancing the voting culture on campus year-round with new initiatives such as the Voter Dropbox program.
Outside of GU Politics, Andrew has held positions on Capitol Hill, at BP America, and with the U.S. Department of Justice, and he can spend hours discussing Harry Potter or his Canadian roots.
