Allie is a first-year Masters of Public Policy Candidate from Atlanta, Georgia. Before attending Georgetown, she got her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama with a major in economics, a specialization in public policy and law, and minors in history, political science, and social innovation. Through internships at the U.S. Department of State and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Allie developed a passion for policy and politics. Her main interest lies in health policy, with a focus on access and coverage issues. Allie is a co-chairman of the McCourt Policy Conference and Domestic Health Policy officer for Food and Health Research at McCourt. Prior to joining GU Politics Student Advisory Board, she was a member of Fall 2017 Fellows Student Strategy Team for former Congressman Patrick Murphy. In her free time, Allie enjoys watching Netflix, cheering on Alabama football, running, and museum-hopping in DC.
